How This Calculator Works
- Space requirements: Each piece of equipment has a minimum footprint plus clearance for safe use. The calculator checks your room dimensions against each item and flags anything that won't fit.
- Three tiers: Budget uses entry-level brands with solid reviews. Mid-range uses established home gym brands (Rep Fitness, Titan). Premium uses competition-grade equipment (Rogue, Eleiko). All tiers get the job done. The difference is build quality, warranty, and resale value.
- Weight amounts: Scaled to experience level. Beginners don't need 500 lbs of plates on day one. You can always add more later.
